To begin, if your Firestick has not yet been jailbroken, follow the simple steps below to jailbreak it to install STB Emulator Pro on your device: 

1.  Click Home on your remote and scroll once to your Right. Click Setting (Gear Wheel Icon).

2. Scroll down and to the right until you get to My Fire TV. Click on it.

3. Select Developer options.

4. Turn on ADB debugging and Apps from Unknown Sources.

5. Click Turn On when the pop-up appears.

Then, after jailbreaking your Firestick, you’ll need to download the Downloader app to sideload STB Emulator Pro. This app, which is easily available on the Amazon App Store, allows you to download APK files.

6. Click Home, click FIND.

7. Click Search.

8. You can either say Downloader to your Alexa voice-enabled remote or start typing it. If you typed it, click on the suggestion when it appears.

9. Click on the Downloader Icon.

10. Click Download.

11. Click on Open.

12. Click on Allow.

13. Use the Downloader search tab.

14. You will be asked to enter a download link. Type in “https://reviewvpn.com/stbe” and select Go.

15. Depending on your internet connection, the APK will take a few seconds to download.

16. After that, choose Install.

17. Then click Open.

6. SELECT PROFILE NAME

7. CHANGE PROFILE NAME TO YOUR SERVER NUMBER OR COLOR, THEN SELECT OK

8. SELECT PROFILE SETTINGS

9. SELECT PORTAL URL

10. ENTER THE SERVER ADDRESS, SELECT OK, THEN CLICK BACK

11. SELECT STB CONFIGURATION

12. SELECT MAC ADDRESS

13. CHANGE THE MAC ADDRESS TO THE ONE WE EMAILED TO YOU, SELECT OK, THEN CLICK BACK TO THE FIRST STB EMU APP SCREEN

14. USING THE MENU BUTTON OR HOLDING DOWN THE OK BUTTON ON YOUR REMOTE, OPEN THE RIGHT SIDE MENU, SCROLL DOWN AND SELECT PROFILE, THEN SELECT THE SERVER

15. STB EMU APP WILL NOW START CONNECTING TO THE SERVER

In this section, I will show you how to check the cache size of your FireStick apps and how to clear it.

Remember that you need to clear the cache for each app individually. There is no app or service that can clear the cache of all the installed apps at once. Amazon App Store does not have any such app and if you run into any third-party app that claims to wipe out all the cache together, stay clear of that app.

Follow the steps below to clear the FireStick cache:

1. Choose Settings on the home screen of your FireStick (menu bar on the top).

2. Open Applications.

3. Scroll down and open Manage Installed Applications.

4. Select the app whose cache you want to clear. When you do that, the cache size appears on the right.

Click the app you chose.

5. On the following window, click Clear cache

Note: Clicking Clear Data will also clear the cache. However, it will also reset the app and remove any data including login data, settings, etc. DO NOT choose this option unless you exactly know what you are doing.

6. You will notice that the cache size has reduced to zero. This means that you have successfully cleared the FireStick cache for the chosen app.

7. Now, press the back button and choose a different app. Click Clear Cache again

Important tips

Here are some of the important points you would want to keep in mind:

• Cache needs to be cleared for each app individually. There is no way to select multiple apps and clear their cache
• Always check the cache size of all the apps
• Screensaver builds up a large amount of cache. Keep clearing its cache from time to time
